Location. Nestled in the residential Shandon neighborhood, on the corner of Woodrow and Devine Streets, The Whitney Hotel of Columbia (S.C.) is one mile from downtown Columbia and the University of South Carolina. This converted apartment building is within two miles of the Columbia Metro Convention Center.
Hotel Features. Complimentary full, buffet style breakfasts are served each morning. The hotel offers complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas of the hotel. Event catering, meeting space and business services are also available. There is a seasonal outdoor pool on site, and the hotel provides access to a nearby fitness center.
Guestrooms. Furnished with English and American antique reproductions, these one and two bedroom suites feature living and dining rooms, washers and dryers, and kitchens. Expert Tip. The Koger Center for the Arts, located one mile from the hotel, is on the University of South Carolina campus. The center hosts the South Carolina Philharmonic and various college functions, making the Whitney Hotel an ideal spot for visiting college students.

Approximate distance to the hotel is 15 miles.
Take Airport Road to traffic light.
Turn left onto Airport Boulevard.
This road turns into Knox Abbot Drive,
Then to Blossom Street.
Stay on Blossom Street until it becomes a two lane road.
Turn left at traffic light on corner of Blossom/Woodrow.
Drive one block and through traffic light.
The hotel is located on the right.
